-Avoid using tobacco products
-Avoid drinking alcohol
-Chew sugarless gum

Tobacco use
Tobacco is a substance that can cause oral cancer as well as gum disease, which is why it’s strongly recommended to avoid using tobacco products. If you do happen to smoke or chew tobacco, it’s best to keep up with your six month checkups so your smile can remain as healthy as possible.

Playing sports
Playing sports is a great way to stay active and keep your body in tip-top shape, but there are things that can happen during the game or practice that can injure your smile.
